Job Title: Customer Service Agent
Job Description:
- Interacts with customers by phone or in person to provide customer service for personal lines of insurance and ensure the best service possible.
- Answers customer questions regarding product or service.
- Converses with customers to obtain information and explain available services.
- Receives and processes orders, provides information concerning pricing, changes in service, and cancellation.
- Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records. Adjusts billing for services rendered.
- Coordinates customer service needs with other departments as required to ensure optimal service standards.
- May solicit sale of new or additional services or products (appropriate license type required).
- Assist agents with re-quoting and/or placement of existing clients into alternative carriers or programs.
- Data entry of policy information into digital management system.
- Identifies areas within a client’s risk profile that could benefit from additional insurance products or options and initiate discussions with clients on this topic.
Hourly Wage: $16-23 per hour PLUS 6% commission on all New Business premium written (appropriate license type required). Opportunities for additional incentive pay available

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 2-20 or 20-44 insurance license
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to prepare professional business correspondence letters
- Basic knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products
- Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC operating program
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Bi-lingual a plus
