Job Title: Sales Producer Job Description:
- Sell personal-lines insurance policies to individuals on behalf of insurance companies, including automobile, property, and specialized policies such as liability, flood, or recreational vehicle insurance.
- Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote the sale of insurance plans.
- Develop base for long-term sources of clients by using referrals, networking and marketing programs.
- Determine clients’ particular insurance needs by gathering documents and information. Rounding accounts in order to provide a complete package of insurance protection.
- Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing existing products.
- Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes.
- Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks.
- Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled and the completion of appropriate forms.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress of initiatives to management
- Facilitate re-quoting and rewriting of policies for current clients who wish to change carriers.
Compensation Package:
- $17-25 per hour, PLUS…
- 6-8% Commission on all written new business premium (Projected annual commission income: $50,000+)

Ideal Candidates Must Have:
- 2-20 General Lines or 20-44 Personal Lines agency insurance license
- 3+ years of personal-lines insurance sales experience
- Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC software program
- Detailed knowledge of personal-lines insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
- High degree of organization; Ability to multi-task and work with time constraints.
- Moderate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
